Deadly beauty

The most poisonous animal is not a snake or a spider. It’s a beautiful little frog! "Most frogs produce skin toxins, but the dart poison frogs from Central and South America are the most potent of all. The golden poison frog, called terribilis (the terrible), is so toxic that even touching it can be dangerous."

Armed America



The photographer Kelly Cassidy went on a mission to find the faces behind the gun-owners of the United States. The results were published in a book called "Armed America: Portraits of Gun Owners in Their Homes" and some of the photos can be seen here. Notice the sometimes surprising juxtaposition between owner and type of gun owned.

Photo storage



Zoto is an alternative to Flickr. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles of their competition but it has the most generous limits in this kind of service with 2GB of storage space and unlimited number of photos. Sometimes it can be a little slow but besides that I'm liking it.
