Unorthodox Taxidermy

It's for real: in the '30s Dr. Seuss set out to take his two dimensional characters into 3D by creating mixed-media sculptures that used real animal parts including beaks, antlers and horns from deceased Forest Park Zoo animals. Now these works of art can be bought at the Dr. Seuss Art site for a price ranging from $1,500 to $3,500.
